How to Give

Landa Gardens Conservancy offers several ways to honor someone special, to memorialize your loved ones, or to leave a legacy for others to enjoy.

Become a Sustaining Donor

Landa Gardens Conservancy is dedicated to maintaining Landa Gardens for decades. This includes regularly cutting and trimming the lawn, replacing diseased or dead trees, keeping the playground equipment and irrigation system in good repair and supporting the community gardens.

By becoming a sustaining donor, you commit to make an annual contribution to the Conservancy for five years. This will enable the Conservancy to maintain and improve the Gardens.

Your contribution will be listed in Landa Gardens Conservancy’s annual report and on its web site, unless you do not wish to be recognized in this way.

Give a gift in Honor or In Memory of Someone

Remember someone’s birthday or anniversary, celebrate a loved one’s life, or return a kindness by giving a gift to Landa Gardens Conservancy in honor or in memory of someone.

Landa Gardens Conservancy will list your name and the person honored or memorialized in its annual report and on its web site, unless you do not wish your gift to be recognized in this way.

Individual, Corporate, or Matching Gifts

Landa Gardens Conservancy welcomes all donations. Join our growing list of supporters helping to sustain the Gardens.

Landa Library Gardens need your help.

During this time of irrigation watering restrictions we need over a hundred volunteers to help hand water the beds and lawns of Landa Library. If you have not been over there recently, please come visit. It is a beehive of activities: kids with parents and grandparents playing on the playground equipment (soon to be replaced with all new equipment), couples strolling the gardens, picnics, birthday parties, christenings, Easter egg hunts, and weddings.

The volunteer time is a great way for students to get their community service hours requirements. If you know of any Boys or Girls Scout or church groups which might be interested, please let me know. We take volunteers of all ages. We divide the Landa beds and lawns up into about 100 sections and have a volunteer (or partner volunteer) responsible for that area. It becomes their responsibility to water (about 45 minutes) their area twice a week (time and days at the convenience of the volunteer) during the time of water restrictions. If you are interested in helping, please contact Barbara Sullivan at landabedwetters@gmail.com.
